Hi there, I am new to this forum so i would firslt like to say hello to everyone here.

I brought a 1998 S reg hyundai coupe recently and didnt really notice until i got it home that there was an awful lot of scratches which are quite deep on the car, also the bodywork seems to have been touched up in places from the previous owner before with a slightly different colour..

Does anyone have any suggestions of what can be used to get these scratches out, or does it look like a respray job ?

Also does anyone know of anywhere or anyone who is selling a nice set of alloys..

give the whole car a major clean over

touch-up any major scratches

give the car a good t-cut

then the best bit atleast 2 layers a polish may remove some of the fianter 1s and will buff the color of the car up again

Yeah thats wat i'd say too, give it a good clean and a bit of t-cut. I think you can get polish for colours (red, blue, green, etc) so maybe give it a lick with some of them!as for the wheels keep an eye out on eBay, there are some nice wheels there at good prices, esp on the OEM ones.

colour polishes are normally not that good

best bet is too look at a good quality one such as maguires prob best (however u spell that lol ) or some autoglym

wheels u may be able to get them refurb cheaper then a new set just keep your eyes out for a cheep but good company that does them
