i put an end to that one. she still thought it was something special because it had SE written on the back.

didn't we find out that the gen2 is actually higher at the rear quarters than the gen3...

I have one set of front disk pads for a gen 2 hyundai (ferodo) if any one wants to swap em for a set of pads for an 04 gen 3 then please get in touch

fair enough, i appreciate what you are saying but i got the idea after seeing dozens of coupes in Rhodes, without the spoiler. i believe it is available there without it. i travel most places at 50-60mph anyhow so i will never notice the difference. will remove it anyway and go for my sunday drive! see if i notice!

just recently, my coupe failed our tough (sometimes too tough) MOT on the rear springs....seeminly some play with them

so over the last few days I have been hunting around online and locally to try and get new lowering
springs. currently, I have Gmax, so not that great, so looked about for some quality springs.

Problem being is that while there is a lot of suppliers for the coupe (gen 1+2), a lot of them dont have them on the shelf or need to order them

in summary, I checked out m,ost of the big online suppliers and covered the brands : Apex, Pi, Gmax, Spax, Koni, Cobra, H+R, Avo, Eibach

The only ones I could get in stck where the KONI from POTN, for a sum of about 150 delivered.......but this is the great thing

if you are wanting springs and are in no rush, KONI, which make superb springs (which come in an almost eatable purple finish), Halfords do them for 102 all in....and if your like me who works there or know someone who does, you could land yourself a set of konis for around 90quid.....BARGAIN

Only downshot is, Koni close for a month in August, and the UK supplier wont have stock until they reopene in sept:(

oh well, in the mean time, I finally managed to order myself a set of spax 40mm springs, and they are en-route
