Hello!

I'll have a go at the questions. I'm not 100% sure on my answer to 1, so I'm sure someone will correct me.

1. No difference in performance, it may just have been a name change and they added a couple of extra toys as standard.

2. The 1.6 would be approximately the same as the diesel, the 2.0 would be quicker and the 2.7 MUCH quicker
IIRC, the 0-60 times are:
1.6 - 11.5sec
2.0 - 9.3sec
2.7 - 8.0sec

3. I don't know the answer to this, sorry.

Probably some truth in that.

I seriously think we won't get the Genesis. If we did, it would be marketed above the Coupe at �20k+ and we would definately not see the V8

What Gen do you have? Gen 3?

These are common Gen 3 faults:
- door actuators (centrol locking)
- window motors
- loose handbrake

I think these apply to older Gen's aswel... someone clarify.

that looks exactly like the coupe i've just bought (i'm not the guy you sold it to on eBay by the way!) but it really does look spot on, can't wait to pick up my Coupe next week

Completed it mate. The last level is rock hard even on easy, i can't even image playing it on the hardest setting

i went for the 1.6 S model. I was tempted to go for the 2 litre SE version with the twin exhaust, but it turned out that the one i ended up with was a better deal overall, and you're right about the electric fence thing!

what would you say the faults are? As a newbie Coupe owner i don't know what to expect yet (haven't picked up the car yet but i have bought it)

uncle buck - thanks for the advice, i had a search and although didn't go with the stuff you said about, i did try cleaning the sensor with wd40. Not sure if that was a good thing, but didn't do anything bad, also put in some shell super unleaded and got it re-tested and well.... it passed!

Stripped the rear caliper and un-siezed the sliding pins and adjusted the handbrake so hopefully that's sorted but wont know until i take it back. Just need to sort the suspension out and a little bolt for the front wheel.

Coupe55 - congrats on buying the coupe mate, its a great car - even with its faults. What gen did you go for? Oh and congrats on finding this site as its a great site! I wish i had a drive with a couple of pit bulls and an electric fence trip wires etc to keep my baby safe
