You can get your paint mixed at Halfrauds, Geesmith has done something similar with his lights and the results are good.

I de ambered mine but decided to leave them all chrome

i have a similer thing with a set of GEM 3 lights. i took mine apart, sprayed the front crom part black, and then also installed angel eyes. i am waiting for my angel eye kit to come from USA.

You have any pictures of them? I am not sure what colour to paint mine. Either black or red.

Personally i would just take the amber out and leave it all silver!

I purchased a set tinted orange indicator bulbs and they seem to work a treat. They are very bright an clear still, even on a sunny day.

Aslong as they are orange and clearly visible i think they should be legal.

The paint is supposed to be matched . I purchased it from halfords paint code VX. That is the only thing that disapoints me about it is like you say the paint colour is not a 100% match.
Thinking i should have used black primer instead of red maybe.
