Ok, I've been thinking about chipping my car to get more power but really don't have a clue. From what i've been told you either get managment systems that have the chip soldered on or the chip can plug into it. And i'm still under warantee which i wouldn't mind keeping so was wondering these main q's if anyone can help:

1.) Is this 2006 2.0SE coupe a system that can be plug-in chipped? (eg...put it on, then at servicing replacwe with old one..then back to the modified one).

2.) During servicing do they use diagnostic stuff for the engine where they would notice that something had been in it that not standard? or is the coupe still not too modern to have that.

3.) What kind of chips can I get, any ideas on price? (kinda looking around for an extra 20-40bhp...mainly 40. Wanna try to be near 175-180bhp. Is that possible? Price wise I'm not rich remember so best deals :P

4.) I know it really depends on your driving but how bad would a chip affect the mpg? eg...i usualy get 25mpg on average.
