Sorted out a battery from a local motor factors. Did originally buy one from another (was £60) but had to take it back as there was no lip (foot on the base) of the battery to clamp down onto. Halfords was £97.

Got a 'Five Star' £85 with a 2year gaurantee. We will see what its like. Fitted it and all is ok at the mo.

When buying a battery make sure that it has the lip/foot if required and the battery terminals are the correct way round.

Ive had to start thinking about this as im still on my origional battery

Not for long now ive jinxed it.... but.... yeah, as they are very large in the Gen 1 & 2 (not sure about 3+) i do wonder about how much it'll be to replace

I found Varta on ebay for much less than than shops. Bosch make Varta. wish i got one of these now.....just hope my 'five star' delivers.
It can be difficult to find the exact match so make sure you do plenty of shopping around. and get plenty of quotes from different people.....oh and i have found out that many people say that the battery they are quoting you is as good as any other....then i found out that its rated crap on the net...... just be careful.
