hi coupe fans.

can you please tell if........the front brake calipers off a 2.0cc gen 1 1997 will fit to a 1.6cc gen 1 2000.......

all stanard parts etc.

what is your advice ?

erm, I wouldn't do it mate, the back ones are usually smaller, I'm thinking of doing a similar thing but I'm dropping the back struts onto mine just to make sure everything will be alright, you can have a go if you want, may knock out the brake balance though ...

Front calipers are the same I thought

oh I thought they where smaller pads on the back? So I assumed the calipers where smaller?

Did you actually read the post before you answered? there was no mention of back brakes

To answer the question though as scout said, they will fit yer

However, rpvespa, as Hig says if you want discs at the back you are better off changing the struts and hubs rather than trying to fit discs to you existing hubs

i have been told by the dealer that i have to have front brake calipers from a 1999 to 2002 model.

looked on ebay = nothing. DOH !

love my coupe as it gives me no trouble................till now.

just whack on a big brake kit
