As it was his 21st last week I decided to try get him a scale model of 'JENNY.

I soon discovered thats its impossible to get a miniture Gen 1 in green.

I had to settle for a yellow one




Which I dismantled:




I sprayed the shell, doors, bootlid and spoiler green (Brittish Racing Green was all I could find, but it did the job):




Look how tiny the spoiler is:




I made a base from MDF and gave it a few coats of paint. I got a plate engraved with Jennys name. The car came with a couple of stickers so i put one in each corner and laquered over them:



Put it all back together, and this is it finished:

the coolest present i got too!! i love it!! its soo awesome!!

Turned out a lot better than than I thought it would, considering how small some of the parts were. Took ages to get the lights in and out without breaking them
