Have arranged with CC tuning to hold our long awaited Midlands Dyno Day.

Sunday 21st March in Burton

Prices start at £40 per person for a minimum of 5 cars, and drop to £35 each if we get at least 10 cars.

Your car will be put on the rollers and two to three runs will be done to make sure any particular run does not give a freak result.

We record the following results for each car run:

1) Bhp at the wheels

2) Torque at the wheels

3) Bhp at the flywheel

4) Torque at the flywheel

5) Boost pressure (forced induction only)

6) Air / fuel mix.

We can then plot all these variables against each other, giving you a clear picture of how your car is running.

The air fuel setting is taken from a wide band lambda sensor placed in the exhaust and gives both us and you a clear idea of how the car is running on the rollers, it also enables us to stop the session if we think damage could be done by continuing.

We will also get a digital copy of the printouts to load up on the site to compare.

so long as at least 5 people are definitely going to turn up then money wont be needed upfront mate.

Will be good to see what your stock model is pulling though, the guys will also be able to advise on what the best mods are if your wanting to increase it.

oh i will be wanting to increase it lol. thinking of getting CAI or exhaust system sorted before then depending on if i can afford to lol. hopefully have something done, if not like you say, be interesting to see what stock output is (especially as its 1999 gen 1 lol)

forgot to ask too, what times the meet?

is it the 1.6 or the 2.0l?

we have had some surprise results in the past, im sure aaron and androoooooooooooooooooo had a thread somewhere with cars spec and their results, and some of the older cars had some alot higher than expected.

its the 2.0 SE version - not that the SE matters for the power lol

I was only going up for the craich and to meet some new peeps. I know what my car is producing stock. (No mods yet but it won't be long )

put me down as a maybe will know closer to the time as to wether i can make it or not. wont be doing the dyno though. could some one put the details on facebook or the club site so i don't forget
