What bulbs go here, I have some but they don't seem to fit SO if anyone can get me a link or the name of the specific bulb then I would appreciate that very much :)

I just bought a pile of blue LEDs to change over all the bulbs this weekend.
I read somewhere on here that they are the same as the small bulbs in the dash?

I hope I'm right cos I was all set to do it this weekend.

I don't solder. If it ain't a screw, a bolt or a block connector then I don't touch it as a rule.

Damn! Was hoping it was just bulb out LED in.

the speedo's are LED's and work fine ... the two heater dial LED's don't fit in unfortunately, might just leave it till I have the dash of next and just put some strips inside the unti, should work ok

If you had a Gen 3 I could tell you all about it. But you don't, so I can't. Got no clue on Gen 2 dash personally

du mean for the speedo?

I haven't got a clue which LED's am usin because Chapp ordered me sone when he bough his own, come to think of it, I'm sure he said something about having to glue the bulbs in place because they are a bit loose, hmmmmm, might have get dash out again tomorrow then lol! That would fix the two cig lighter LED's

(I only know about the 286 as I googled em lol!)

Gen 1's is 4x 501 and x2 286 for the speedo , rev etc. The heater dials, cig lighter use 286 also. The rest of the switches ie fog window rear demister all require leds to be soldered in with resistors. Pretty sure this should be the same for gen 2. its for a ge one but same sort of principle, just the - and + could be other way round.

Heres the back of a gen1 instrument cluster. Gen2 should be pretty identical.

Also a little tease of my dash, so you can see what can be achieved with a bag of 100 Leds and loads of spare time.
