Nice 'rod, mate.

Have to say (while waiting for the pics to load) when I read Nissan 100 I thought I was gonna see the early '90's targa-topped hatch!

Nice work :thumbup

Don't know much about older cars, but am I right in saying that a 100e is a Ford Anglia?

Dunno, could be - TBH, I didn't read the post that well and the words 'Nissan' and '100' stood out for me. :o

Hadn't been drinking either, before some wag suggests it :lol

Ford seemed to do it as different models

It was the Ford Prefect 100E,Ford Popular 100E,Ford Anglia 100E

you are right scout, the one with the angled back WAS the Ford Anglia 105E

Not toooooo confusing then :lol :lol

See here on Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Prefect

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Popular

Nice car by the way :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup

....it's the Ratmobile !!!!

Class ride though mate.

My Dad had one as his first car, in Black too - paid £80 for it - was "Car of the Week" on the local forecourt.

Mum was pregnant with me at the time, and had to push it everywhere.

Hoping the Nissan lump is a little more reliable for you though....
