It doesn't surprise me, TBH - the average 6x2 tractor unit will get stuck and spin on a covering of damp leaves and thats with the crosslock in too. I had an '89 8-wheeler and that was the same, you could hang the back end out round corners loaded if it was slippery...

Theres a lot to be said for 4 wheel drive and good clutch control, a Defender 90TDi would have done the same...

Possibly the best exhaust note on a standard road car though - a close tie with TVR's V8 Chimera... The Subaru forums done a Colin McRae memorial meet at my local RAF station, about 100 Impreza's in attendance hooning around the airfield - what a noise that was! Far nicer than the more usual Tornado's :cool:
