Yes people....It was a day of mixed emotions. The coupe got traded in, to make way for my new car....The new car is absolutely gorgeous, but everytime I think about the coupe, I feel like i've broken up with a woman and just can't get over her! The coupe had brought me nothing but joy. What a beauty to drive. I just hope she's gone to somebody who will appreciate her as much as I did :'(

Anyway, enough of that! I thought i'd leave you lot with a few pics. Enjoy!

.....And here is the replacement. It's a Mazda RX8 231bhp model. 1.3l Wankel Rotary Engine. 0-62mph in roughly 5.5seconds. MPG is 16, but can be taken to 22 if you drive like a granny! I catch trains to work, so will only ever be driving this on the weekends. Insurance group 16, and road tax for the year came to £215.

Your new car looks great... but I think I woulda gone the whole way and got a Lancer Evolution if it was just a weekend car. The RX-8 tries to do a lot of things and doesn't really excel anywhere.

Enjoy it though and remember not to take too many short trips or you'll be forever flooding the engine oh, and the advice given by mazda: Always check your oil every time you fill up with petrol
