WARNING-----XBOX/MICROSOFT BANNING SPREE

Been told microsoft will be having a banning spree on 16th November for a week trying to catch anyone with flashed xboxes running shall we say 'Back up copies' of games.May be rumour but thought i would post it just in case.

I would think as long as your not playing games before the release date you should be ok.If i hear any more ill pass the info on.

Ive escaped the banning spree so far with an samsung ms28 drive. When my xbox died i bought a new one and spoofed the drive as an ms28 and still didnt get banned last time. Hopefully ill be fine again. I am careful though not to play pre-released games and i only download games that are PAL..not region free.

Im not even on the latest firmware i dont think!

just been on the megaups forums.cant believe how many have been stupid enough to play MW2 early and then moan cos they got banned.

Idiots like that ruin it for the rest of us.Seems to be mostly yanks at the moment though.

Well...they got me, ive been banned! bas*ards did it a day after i renewed my subscription too

Im not that fussed but its annoying as my laser has just about had it and i was playing my favourite games from hard drive which you cant do when banned. Looks like ill have to buy 1 off ebay

my friend has also been banned from Xbox for having his Xbox chipped and using copied games.
Wanted to chip mine, but i like to stay legit to avoid these bans.... so i said no thanks

Mind you didnt really matter. a week after saying no my Xbox got stolon from my home :cry

Now stuck with a playstation 2
