Hey havent been on in a while. I finnally have enough money to buy my new wheels but i am having problems deciding what to buy. Im most likely going for the v6 as i have a few that are well priced but i saw this the other day and im sure i heard someone on this website going on about them -, anyone know anything about them, I am lookin for something with a bit of power so it seems to tick the box's, but the v6 has the looks to boost, ARRRRGGGHH i hate decisions!

If it was my money I wouldn't buy a Rover (Or MG)

I had an MGF which used the K Series which are the unreliable ones...BUT only due to a poor gasket design, and generally inadequate cooling system, the engine itself is actually very good.

BUT in my opinion a ZS or a coupe isn't even a choice, it'd be a coupe all the way. Bear in mind that MG parts are now pretty expensive if anything does go wrong too.

I would definately have another MGF, but only because i know them inside out now. If you haven;t had an MG/Rover before then i wouldn't recommend it, by the time you learn all the quirks you've already shelled out a crap load of money in repairs. That was why i sold mine, even though when i sold it it was basically like new, i was sick of the thing by then! I do miss my MGF though

EDIT: Head over to forums.mg-rover.org and have a chat with some of the guys that own ZS's and read through some of the help sections to get a feel for what they're like. good guys over there, very helpful and mountains of info.

surely you should have said "so not all rovers were bad"

remember the rover you had is now older as well and spares are getting more expensive. It seems that when Rover/MG got it right it was good but they so often missed I'd be loathed to get one now
