the actuator shouldnt affect the passenger side door as it will not trigger the central locking (as standard it's one sided)

it definatley sounds like you need a £20 actuator and 10 mins labour.. and the garage you have it at is taking you for a ride..

its at the hyundai garage mate as i was told by local garage i had to take it there...just called up another local garage who told me without looking at it he cannot quote but actuators could cost between 20 and 100 quid then fitting....
