im gettin a slight whistle coming from my engine bay, sounds a wee bit like a turbo lol, anyone else have this problem/could it be related to this mod?

I wouldn't bother cutting away, just have a look in my garage at the cold air feed I've put on, it might be worth trying that instead of cutting away at the car?

Hey guys, just tried doing this to my Gen 3 but ran into a problem removing fusebox. Its got a plastic plug that goes into the wing & its stopping me removing it as I cant move it far enough away to free it due to air filter box. :bang

Ive also ringed the 'snorkel' just to make sure I am removing the correct tube?

Any advice on getting the fusebox out of the way would be appreciated.

Look on ebay for a cheap cone filter, about Â£12, and do mostly the same job as the more expensive ones - basically creating an SRI. Makes more noise than the snorkus mod and avoids having to fiddle around with the sensors.

This also means you remove the original air filter box and so have enough room to take all the other tubes out down to the resonator.

Look in my garage to get a better idea
