i noticed the other day....when my ariel goes right up..its soo high it makes my gen 1 look like a remote controled car!its huuuge
i cant be ased with filling in holes etc soo has anyone else seen or replaced theres with nice ones?if soo what are they and when can i get one

Not sure about a shorter ariel, but i have fitted a switch on mine so that i can control when the ariel is up, as i mostly listen to my Ipod/CD's and very rarely listen to the radio.

Very simply this is a switch from halfords that is in lin with wire that runs to the ariel from the head unit. 5 mins to fit and cost about Â£2.

Mine doesnt go up or down its just stuck in the hole at the bottom!!

Turned up a piece of alumininm on a lathe,cut threads on the end to suit the mounting base + just screwed it on "1hr in total", Reception is perfect :!:
