Hi there.

I have a 98 reg coupe, and i just fitted HIDs (yes i know )

The dial on the inside doesnt seem to work anymore since the end of December in the really cold snowy/ice spell we had.

But since i fitted my HIDs, obviously with them being brighter, i want to make them point at the ground a little bit more.

So how do i adjust the level of the beam from the headlight itself?

I fear i may be blinding some drivers.

you best bet would be to find a garage with a beam box and ask them to adjust for you. unfortunately these are only normally available at MOT centers...so just make sure you don't go to where you get your MOT's done.

If that isn;t an option have a look in the handbook, it should give you information on how to set the beam adjustment manually, all you need is level ground infront of a plain(ish) wall.

Lowering the beam won't lower the glare of them. provided the headlights are in good condition and the beam was correct to start with it should be ok.

If you look at your headlight from the top you will see a hole with a screw head which is plastic, turn it either way to adjust the height.
