Just need some guidance.

I am debating removing all badges from the exterior of my car except the "H" as i believe these have locating holes (is this correct?)

I am unsure whether to do so as the car is a limited edition and doing so may affect the value come selling time.

What do you think?

Remove them and keep them safe, they are easy to re-apply if you ever do wish to sell it

is it possible to re-fix them on? do you need a special glue or something?

looks good with just the "H"

you will need M3 tape to stick them back on - if you can straight ;)

Would have voted 'No' - but the "returned submitted form was invalid" or somesuch error. Anyways:

I personally wouldn't, if there is any such car that should be left alone then it is this one. It's Ltd. Edition, as you know - and personal cosmetic modifiction will just have the effect of blending it in with any other Gen1 you might see. That said, it's yours and you can do what you like to it. I have to say that cuz it'll just incur the wrath of somebody if I don't. As has been suggested, keep the badges incase you need to sell it later. With people paying a tenner for a center cap, you can easily loose near a hundred quid from the sale value if the badges matter to the new owner.

As for the H's - leave alone. I took mine off, they leave 5mm holes in the body which need belling and filling on the rear, and the front is recessed. A lot of work and having done it, they look better with 'em on.

tried voting yes but forms came back as invalid again.

Cars are all individual, it is a very limited edition model and to most that doesnt mean alot, to afew that matter a great deal. Do with it as you please, i believe that it looks alot sleeker and cleaner just with the H badges but that is entirely up to you.

For those that it is important to, you can always keep the badges to stick on again at a later date as i said above. I have done a hell of alot to mine, but everything i have done is reversible and i still have the originals (apart from the exhaust) which could be put back to standard if i ever came to sell it and the buyer wanted that

ooh I know what this is, it's a bug in the template.. (because it's for v 3.0 not 3.5)

there is an easy fix.. so someone should notify the admin.

don't take off the badges on the evo!! i've done the debadge on my gen 1 but only because it's a fx version if i had the f2 evo i would of left it as it is!! :) as rik said its ltd edition any mod's to it will incur a penalty as such! leave it standerd (or just do the engine moding) :) just my opinion!

as above the f2 is going to be the most saught after of all the coupe's, due to its motorsport heritage. 18 months it was common for gen 1 f2/evo's to fetch 4-5k in top condition. not just that at current prices the f2/evo makes a good investment to gain in value. but losing its identity could affect it value and saleability.
