hey guys,

im thinking of changing the colour of my coupe from f2 blue to maybe a gun metal grey but im unsure, as you guys have had coupes far longer than i have im sure, if you could give me some ideas it will be great

Just to give you an idea at the moment i have some gun metal Kei RSS alloys already on it and a f2 evo front bumper will be going on soon along with a f2 evo spoiler or a shark wing if i can get hold of one!

Also if anyone knows a good garage to do this then please let me know! im in telford, shropshire

A full colour change is serious money if done properly. Car would have to be stripped so the whole chasis can be painted...

BUT - The idea of a Gun Metal F2 Evo Replica... WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah its a price im willing to pay to get away from the normal colours, it fun to be different!

Spraying the outside of a car you are looking at 800-1500 depending on the quality.

then bear in mind that you need the inside of the doors doing, the underside of the bonnet, the inner wings, the underside of the boot etc.

For a good quality FULL colour change you are looking at £2k minimum at a guess?

hence why i scrapped the idea and concentrated on performance instead, will tidy the bodywork up again when/if i come into some money lol

the second picture is exactly the colour im after and yeah im not going to go cheap, im going to spend a fair bit of money on this car....bodywork first then engine. All i care about is that its done right! now any suggestions as to good paintshops?
