My drivers side window stuck a little and now rattles a very tiny bit when driving, i think because its been losened when the window stuck.

i was just wondering if there is a way to tighten it, in my 106 my uncle did it by taking the door panel off and he then did something to fix it, would it be the same in the coupe or best left to a prof?

its a common problem with the coupe when people shut the door using the window.i dont know how you fix it but the dealer charged me 80 quid on my gen1 for the pleasure

There'll be some way of adjusting the travel of the window mechanism. Given the potential of cocking this up, I'd take it to Autoglass or someone similar - they don't just do windscreens

She ALWAYS closing the door using the window and drives me nuts doing it. The door has a handle USE IT!!!!

ok thanks guys, well today when driving the car there isnt a rattle anymore perhaps the window has settled back in ( it was a short journey) so maybe too early to tell but if its still there il get it looked at, (bloody frost).

another thing you should avoid is doing what we call a "motteram"
ripping the door open when its frozen shut.sure to loosen the glass

but dosent the glass tick to the rubber??? well on the gen 1 it does

Did on mine until I rubbed a thin film of silicone onto the rubber - no sticking after that
