Volvo V40 Jets Anyone?

I just purchased a set of Volvo window jets from ebay, I wasn't expecting much but have to admit, they are really good. They spray the water out like a fan which gives really good coverage and the are also flatter than the Hyundai ones so look loads better. I know this mod was talked about previously a while back but don't know if anyone actually carried it out. Of and Â£11.24 delivered makes them good value. Easy to fit without any modification required on my Gen 3.

I think you'll find these a lot cheaper from the main dealers i think I was quoted somewhere in the region of Â£4 per pair inc VAT when I owned my Gen 3, the SIII has 3 way jets so don't really need them now

If anyone does want to get them from a dealer the part number is 30655605 and they're about Â£8/pr (at least back in '06).

There is an excellent DIY guide written by Gamelleiche which shows some good before/after shots.

Definitely a recommended mod.

just fitted mine and it's incredible what a difference they make. Got mine from a Volvo stealer as it was cheaper to buy 2 sets from them than from the web. Oh, the second set is for the missus' Mazda6, if they don't fit then they'll be up for sale on here.

On a complete side note it looks like the guy who wrote the guide above () died today http://www.uhter.de/ :shock:

I like mine, they mist the window rather than have any jets, so you get a pretty even coverage and no, erm.. clean spots? you know where you can tell where the jet has been aimed over time?
