Sorry to hear about your problem but wanted to advise you about what you probably already know deep down
The paint warranty with Hyundai is cover against rust coming from beneath paint so it's a rust warranty really. If the repair had been carried out on an area of rust coming through the paintwork in line with the warranty, you would have been covered for further repairs until the end of the warranty.
Your situation is different and is a dent and associated paint damage which is not covered by any warranty Hyundai or otherwise.
Because you saw it at point of sale, the company agreed to repair damage to sweeten the deal but this was up to them and nothing to do with Hyundai or the 5 year warranty.
With this in mind, most repairs or replacement parts on vehicles not otherwise covered by a separate warranty are only covered for between 3mths and a year.
It seems the years up and your on your own. Poor service and a warning to others thinking about this dealer but they seem to be operating within the law if not in a morally acceptable way.

Finally been back to the dealer after he 'forgot' 3 times to pass my details onto the paint repair company. Their man took a look, ran a polishing mop over it and declared that the job wasn't done right in the first place and that the whole door would have to be sprayed to put it right. Which was what I've been saying since day one.
Anyway he rings the dealer as I'm stood next to him, who after hearing that quick polish won't sort it tells the paint to man to tell me that they won't pay up any more - end of. They didn't even have the guts to tell me personally.... The paint man thinks that the marking won't get worse and that I should live with it.

Looks like a letter to Hyundai expressing my disappointment, and a warning to you all about getting a separate guarantee for any additional work that may be done to your car - especially if it's 'free' as you won't have an invoice to fall back on.

Finally avoid Sunwin motors (soon to be co-op motors) of Derby.

give their number to trading standards and they'll ring them up within the hour and ill guarentee they'll have ur car back in

Also check both your car and household insurance as many policies have a Legal Expenses cover which helps not only when being sued but when you have to take action against someone. I'm doing this now in a non-car related matter.

You never know. A couple of letters from a solicitors might help and won't cost you anything (except maybe a phone call).

It is amazing isn't it.
And I suppose that the cost of the repair is hugely cheaper than the cost of the court case that Trading Standards could bring + all the bad publicity..
