OK, so the day before I go away on my hols I go to open the sunroof and it jams and blocks and makes strange noises. Luckily it's only the 'headlining' folding part that is blocked but is blocked halfway and looks poo. I booked it in at York and thought that it would be a one day job (when are they ever).....

I have been informed that the runners are broken on the sunroof and it is costing me £600 to get them replaced and Im without my car for the week. Flippin 'eck.

This leads me to the question: Has anyone else had this problem, and also, when I press the OPEN button on it (Gen3) am I supposed to have pulled the headlining back manually or is the sunroof meant to have pulled it back with it?

Mine was chewed up into the mechanism ages ago, Hyundai removed the broken screen slats and said they would cost £140 for one and £180 for the other, never mentioned the runners but I said screw that leave them off... and since then I've had no screen but it's better than paying £320 for 2 pieces of plastic lol.

I have pretty much a complete sunroof assembly which I can sell bits off if people need it, only problem was the left bit of metal which pushes the sunblind back with sheared off, so I replaced the lot! Depends what you need, but I wouldn't want anything like £600!

I do indeed have the sunblinds, make me an offer!
