I am thinking of getting an induction kit for my 05 plate coupe was just wondering what type would be the best and if it is easy to do ?

Induction kits are fairly easy to fit. Took about 20 mins to fit mines in (Ninos fitted it for me) and as for the best, I don't think there is a best really. The ones that you should look at are PiperX and K&N. Depending on which kit you go for it will have different sounds and results.
If you do a search on the forum there is a lot of information on Induction Kits, CAIs, SRIs that will be of help.

kinda depends on how much you want to spend and how easy you want it to be to fit!

I would say that an SRI (Short Ram Induction) is about the easiest to fit, you just remove the original resonator box from the throttle body and add your induction, I went for a K&N one (about £100 from eBay) and I'm really happy with it and it was dead easy to fit.

If you're feeling a bit more flush and adventurous you could go with a CAI (Cold Air Induction) which is a little harder to fit (and more expensive!) as the cone tend s to sit behind the front bumper, but you will get better results with one of these and a decent kit cost around £200+ for something like an Injen setup, eBay is your friend in this case!

There are loads of fitting instructions in the forum, a quick search will seek them out for you and my kit came with really easy to follow fitting instructions.

Hopefully getting mine fitted at some point this weekend. I was originally looking at fitting my Injen CAI at the meet we are having at Brum, but looking at the weather this might not be a goer. I'm meeting up with Phil on saturday for some serious cleaning and polishing so we might attempt it then . . . again depending on the weather. I do however have some written instruction on how to fit the Full CAI to a Gen 3 (Injen make) but would assume they are virtually identical to most models. I'll scan them in at some point soon and get them posted as a Word or Powerpoint document.
