All, i *really* love my coupe (gen 3 2.0 SE, jan 05 plate) but its just too dam slooooow, i just think that i should be getting more for my 2Lt's and the 2.7 V6 doesn't seem a worthwhile investment for the Bhp. Trouble is i love the coupe style, back seats, and 5 year warranty.

So it's come to this, sacrifice the back seats/warranty saftly blanket and dump the coupe for a early model Z4, S2000, or Boxster.... or improve the performence of the coupe without alterning the external appearence/sound.

Given that i know *nothing* about the nuts and bolts of cars i'm looking for some guidence on what i can change/mod in the coupe to improve its performence to at least 200bhp, how much it would cost, and what the insurance company will say!

any advice would be apprechaited.

performanecoupe.co.uk they have loads of tuning parts for the coupe, just expect delivery to take afew months. they have specalised hyundai tunig parts, you can either go down the standard tuning tuning route induction kits free flowing exhaust and chip to start with, then look at things like bigger throttle body larger intake and exghaust manifolds and high lift cams, that will get you well into the 200bhp mark. they also offer turbo and supercharger conversions. but if go to far with the power increase then you'll need things like bigger brakes, stronger clutch maybe even an uprated diff. but if you went down that route you be as fast if not faster in straight line stop quicker and corner faster and look whole cooler
