mate i've got the b&m shifter on my evo and it comes with really good fitting instructions, it probably takes no more than 10mins to fit, you need to keep the evo gear knob though as the one that comes supplied is hidius in my eyes.

Thx for the reply tomo.

Have noticed that with the current shifter the gearstick seems to 'lean' back too far on the gaiter surround when in 2nd and 4th gear.

With the B&M shifter does this reduce the play by as much as the write ups claim (30% - I think).

I agree, I had that same shortshifter on my old manual 1998 coupe and felt a great improvement in shifting.
Very easy to install.. shame I cant install it in my automatic one

I also agree, I have one on my 2.0 98 model and it not only makes shifting better it feels so much more solid.

Excellent mod for the price. Lots of high class OEM manufacturers fit them to their cars.
