You can test the plug wiring for voltage....once you know which wire is pos you can test the other to earth on the engine for continuity.
The dealer must charge heavily for sewing his knuckle up.
....or he does this for a living...
If the problem hasn't gone after you payed that much you have a right to get them to do a diagnostic now the problem recurred....to see if another code has come up....tell them you followed their suggestion when you had the sensor fitted. Don't accept no for an answer as you have to post your result on the largest Hyundai forum in the land. No more money should change hands at this time!
....otherwise I'd suspect that darned easy peasy crank sensor.
