Having returned back to the UK Saturday morning I thought I would take the Coupe out for a good run seeing as she had been sat in the garage for a month.
Done the usual checks: Oil, water, tyres etc etc and noticed the PAS fluid level was a little low so topped this up and thought nothing more of it. Got back after a short run and noticed the steering was grinding a bit. Got out and checked under the bonnet only to see a cloud of smoke and the sound of "hissing" as something was leaking onto the manifold. Looked under the car and a nice puddle of oil/fluid had appeared as well
Dropped the car into MK Hyundai yesterday morning (Wednesday - the only time available as they were fully booked up
) and receive a call later that afternoon advising the High pressure hose had cracked and would need replacing but the part would need ordering in and it may not be until later today (Thursday) that I can get the car back
So i'm just sat here twiddling my thumbs waiting on the Garage to ring and quote the "your bill has come to ££££". After a months break I am not looking forward to returning to work later tonight as well
