hello everyone,
my first post here.....i currently own a 2.0 L cvvt automatic tuscani in singapore...just like in uk its a right hand drive....the thing is i'm really interested in changing my tranmission to manual...and in singapore hyundai doesnt bring in the manual tuscanis....was wondering whether i would be able to purchase second hand parts for the manual transmission here in the uk....i travel quite a bit to manchester...so i'm hoping if anyone can help me out here.....i thank you all in advance

Have you considered finding a car from elsewhere such as ..Oh Manchester. The hassle of shipping it back cant be harder than converting it. That sounds like a very ambitious conversion, dont know if its even feasible. Maybe another member can give you a guide to the possibility of doing this, but personally I cant help thinking your current car is worth more as an auto. Couldnt Hyundai take an order for one car with manual?

Its possible alright, but is it really worth it?

Its not as simple as changing the gearbox, were talking new flywheel, pedal box, clutch master cylinder, possibly things such as drive shafts and Gear shift mechanism.

As Glynn said, its probably not feasable, I reckon you'd be looking at £600+ plus all of youyr time to do it.

Would it not be possible to buy a UK car and get it shiipped over to Singapore?
