i checked out that ebay link on my previous post about having the gearbox re-built and a new clutch fitted,



i bidded on the gearbox and was the winner for what hopefully turns out to be bargin price of £50

i managed to get out of work for the afternoon to arrange to pick this up from west bromwich, took me nearly 4 hours to get there thanks to people who can't drive and road works but made it in the end and then plodded back for another 3 hours drive home.

hope to find no major problems with the fitting of this at my mates garage, i've gotta pick up some new oil seals in the morning and then the car goes in for the work to be started wed and hope to have the car back by sat at which point if all goes to plan and weather permitting i can get her back up to scratch and give her a good clean up as she looks a bit worse for where at the mo.[/url]

nice one.....you know i'll be of no help when it comes to your gearbox.... but could help with your next little project. let me know when u free to we can try on mine first as i need to find circuit by trial and error.
