does anyone know how much sharky will charge to replace the headgasket on a 1997 coupe.i think its the headgasket that needs doing because i am losing some water,but everythink eles is fine.no gunge in the oil,no misfiring,no overheating.

Would make more sense to ask Sharky...

But those symptoms don't suggest HGF. A fair bit of mayo in the oil would be the most likely sign. But coupes as a rule don't suffer from HGF

More likely to be a leak somewhere

Yea sounds like mine, iv got a leak which is on and off depending on the day and iv changed the pipes , so they can sometimes be hard to spot.

Mine does get some white in the oil cap but this is due to short journeys. The pipes that have been bad for me are the one going from top of radiator into engine and from bottom of radiator into engine both towards the right hand side of radiator if your looking at the front of the car, they may be worth a check.
