ive got a 1997 coupe,theres white smoke comin from the exhaust,theres no gunge in the oil cap or in the oil,my engine doesnt over heat,its just when im standing still at lights and, ect, then theres a plume of white smoke when i set of again, when im driving its fine.

LOTS of smoke? are you sure it's not just temperature related because it's been cold?

This is normal IF your radiator is not losing water (check the overflow tank). All coupes do it especially in cold weather, and even after a long run when you would have thought all the condensation has been evaporated. Tends to be worse if you do lots of short runs. I had it on my gen2 for 35,000 miles with no problems and my V6 is showing the same signs, but I've only had it since October so a lot of cold days

- other things to watch out for are heater blowing cold even when set to hot, temp gauge getting hot and then dropping to cold, misfiring and other generally poor performance.

These would all point to an HGF issue, which I dont feel you have

thanks for the replys,everythink is normal, like temperture, and the blowers blowing hot,no missfireing.but i think i am losing abit of water,i only use my car about once a week.
