Hi guys, got a problem starting my Gen 3 Coupe and could use some of your experience and knowledge!

First of all, it started fine about 2 months ago but has been tucked up safely in my garage since then.

Its having a new drivers door so the loom is disconnected on that side.

It turns over fine, it sparks at the plugs, but it just won't start.

Now fuel wise, theres ive taken the fuel line of the rail and theres no pressure with the ignition on or during cranking. Ive opened the inspection cover on the tank and checked the voltage at the plug for the pump and theres no voltage during ignition to any of the terminals (can anyone confirm which colour is supposed to be ign live btw)

So I presume its fuel pump related, ive changed the relay and nothing.

So im wondering...

Is there a fuel cut of switch for in the case of an accident?

The other possibility is an immobiliser fault, is there a way of checking? I.e. some cars the ecu light will flash during cranking.

I think thats all the information that you need to know! Any information would be a great help!

isnt there a switch that disables the fuel? think you'd better google tiburon automotive my boy!

well... i presumed there would be a switch like on most cars nowadays that cuts fuel in the event of a crash but whereabouts it is I dont know.. im having a good old look on ebay now but ill have to start using triburion because there isnt a lot coming up for hyundai coupe!

Ive got the workshop manuals downloading as well!

johny.. didnt check feed to relay tbh, relay is good i know that! checking the feed maybe just a good idea!

sounds like immobilizer cutting fuel to me

Well after scanning through the workshop manuals theres no mention of a fuel cut off switch..

So i suppose the immobiliser moves to number one suspect!
