When I get a set of plugs and wires (blue) I will be looking to replace all hoses with silicon ones.

Now various companies offer sets but all have their company logo plastered all over them. I don't want the engine bay to stand out from 20 miles away and some people saying "Wow!" and others saying "Not my thing really."
I want to keep it looking stock, but brighten it up a little, and replace the ugly old, tatty rubber pipes with ones I can be confident in that will last, and all look the part and match each other (different makes will all have slightly different shades of blue).

The plugs and wires leads will be blue silicon, I have a CAI that I intend to spray satin black to match the engine bay - that has blue silicon connectors but that won't match in colour to the plugs and wires so they will need to be replaced too.


I am looking for all the hoses (exposed or otherwise) to be replaced, including the small pipe off the intake that I don't know what does and the joints of the CAI. they need to be the same or as close to the colour of the plugs and wires when I order them and they arrive (to compare) and with no logos on them - in a style that could look OEM performance parts and good quality.



Any ideas where I would go to even ask? I've tried googling custom silicon hoses but all I get are pre-made shapes and angles etc.

Custom silicone hoses will cost a feckin fortune, mate - it's £140 for a set (2) of boost hoses for my car, made to order...

speak to your local hydraulics company, so long as you provide the standard hose, they can take measurements and make up whatever you want. I was quoted about £20 for a couple of radiator hoses (similar to the OBX ones).


I used Carlton Hydraulics in Rotherham, i know its not exactly round the corner from you but its there if there is nobody local to you.

duple states the obx ones are crap so dont bother with them

They all have the stuff to bend and shape hoses properly, i took some standard rad hoses just to replace a split one but i enquired about full silicon setup and was just told that if i could give them my current hoses for 2-3 days he would make me a full set up in either blue or black for not alot at all.
