People go on about performance plugs and leads as a performance modification but I don't have a clue I'm afraid.
So far I've got (all waiting to fit)
* Headers (will follow faz's lead and have old cat custom welded in)
* Motoria catback (should have this some time soon anyway)
* PCM (I think) CAI
* Big bore throttle body (not 100% sure it's in good order, will replace if not)
* SMT 6
I will also be looking at getting an NGM Stage IV intake manifold (upper and lower) cash allowing, and an intake manifold spacer (if that's still any use with the NGM)

Question is... what plugs and leads do I get, and where from?


Can someone who knows give me a few example sets, with prices and links...
1) If money was no object, the absolute BEST ones money can buy.
2) The most popular choices that most people opt for.
3) The budget set, ones that do the job, better than stock for an affordable price.
4) Mid range (if applicable) if there is sets in between most common and the best.


I know it's asking more than I need to, but hopefully once all is said and done (new job allowing) then I'll slap together some sort of guide with results

10mm Magnecor (?Reds?) would be the best, IMO, but I dunno if you can get 'em for the v6. I had the 8mm Blues and they were pretty damned good. There is a performance lead company (Hotleads or summat like) that will make up leads to your spec, they are pretty good too

They don't say the make of lead but go on and on about how fantastic the spiral core is and the composition of them etc. Plus they're 10.2mm (I assume this is good) and a decent price (shipping to the UK not specified yet but surely can't be too much).

The NGK leads aren't the performance ones i have at the moment, you can get Nology wires and sunauto wires. i have the sun auto performance ones, they are the thickest and give out the most power. i couldn't see the sun auto ones on the site any more unfortunately.
