I am oping somebody can elp me out....

Since the really cold snap came along at the beginning of the week, my TCS OFF and ABS lights on the
dashboard have started coming on making moving off and stopping, in some instances, a bit tricky
(I do have the necessay automotive driving skills to cope).

If I pull over, swith the engine & ignition of and start it up again, the lights go out,
but within 30 seconds of driving off again the lights are on & TCS and ABS not working once more...

During this brief 30 seconds I have tested & felt the TCS and ABS working to see if they worked
when the light is off and they do, so I am wondering if it is too cold for my coupe and once the
weather warms up a bit it will return to full working order???

Has anyone else experienced these such problems???

Yeah, I have...according to most it's normal. I agree about it being a bit annoying, but as long as you're more careful you should be ok. Touch wood I've been ok to this point!

Oh, as long as it not just me, don't want any expensive repairs just after crimbo....

Although it has started to warm up (ever so slightly), i thought my TCS & ABS
would now start working properly, but the lights are still coming on indicating they are not....

Is this something that I need to be concerned about or should it
correct itself when it gets hotter in the summer......

you sure theyre not just coming on because its doing its job? If they are flickering then youre planting it too much

ha ha, only pumping out a bog standard 165bhp, can't take the skin off a rice pudding....
I've been drivin like a granny so no chance, they are on solid, I say solid.......

The big thaw has been (last couple of days 6 degrees Celcius), no ice or snow around, bit still my TCS & ABS lights are remaining ON !!!!

This must now mean I have a problem with them.
Has anyone any ideas??

dodgy abs/speed sensor ?

might be a dodgy sensor for sure in this weather.ice may have damaged
