hi i have a 2.0 se coupe 51reg but don't know what gen it is. i have a problem starting the engine, sometimes i turn on the ignition and nothing happens other times it works fine . It will start if i push it. could it be the starter and if so where is it located.

it could be the starter motor, you ideally need to get the bonnet up when it decides not to work and listen for any noises i.e weather it engages and doesn't spin up < clunk -probs quite quiet
or weather it spins up but doesn't engage < loud wurr loud you would of probs heard it.

the strater is down the back of the engine you'll need ramps double jointed arms and the airbox off if your going to attempt it yourself
