Idle Air Control Valve

Does anyone know if the idle control valve off a Coupe gen 1/2 would plug & play on a gen 3/3.5

according to new tib a while ago yes it does.and someone off the elantra forum has used one before think its called elantra xd look there

Tryed a 2nd hand one & they are hard to find, ain't got time to mess about so i'll take the easy route & get one Wednesday from Hyundai. I had to get 2 lambda sensors (front & rear) from them today & cost 338 quid. Bet they love me eh

I have found that the Bosch idle control valve from a gen 1/2 does work on Coupe 02+ but i have now had a bracket made up for my idle control valve so i can fit this AIRRAM. My Coupe should be back on the road next week after major overhaul of modified Fujita CAI, 62mil BBTB, AIRRAM inlet manifold, phenolic inlet spacer, 290cc fuel injectors, 255LH Walbro Fuel pump, High lift SR inlet-cam, oil catch tank with breather, Magnecor HT leads, Denzo uridiam plugs, Fidanza fly-wheel & stage 1 clutch

Shame they didn't leave things the way they was as the previous site was better. Anyway my misses is an accountant & knows computers inside & out, she said she will take the camera to work & sort out some pics on her computer. Finished overhaul on Coupe today after fitting this AIRRAM & everything else. I took it for a test drive to see if there was any kinks to iron out & holy crap the thing goes like hell, such an improvement. It does idle a little higher/uneven than before & you can hear the WALBRO buzzing away but i must say i'm well pleased with the end result. Engine bay looks the dogs, big time. Just such a shame i can't post pics on this site anymore
