Hi guys,

Recently had a 4-2-1 and fast flow cat fitted to my car and the people who welded it accidentally left a small piece in the system which i took back and they got rid of.

However now only on acceleration there is a horrible rattle i have had the car up on the ramp with all the heat shields tightened and checked and cant pin point it. Anybody with any ideas would be great

Also got a rattle noise when just crossing 3000 rpm too that has happened ever since i have had it also never been able to pinpoint that.

They replaced everything up to the cat and still have the rest of the midsection and magnex back box but looks pretty deteriorated ( possibly this)? isnt there suppose to be a lifetime warranty on this?

ok, so its the catback thats been replaced, right?

Im guessing you have the manicat system, so effectivly it joins at the manifold? If so, check the flanges that join to the manifold - this can have a large flange on with aftermarket, and can rattle against the oil pan
