I am in the process of getting a new set of engine mounts as mine are currently shot. I am looking at the poly ones and can get front and rears for £120 delivered. Has anyone seen any cheaper for the gen1?

Also, the one on the passengers side also seems very worn, ive heard stories that changing that into poly would make the engine shake pretty unbearable. Is this true? and if so would it be worth just changing it for a new OEM mount or bush? and where are they available from? cant see any online anywhere and havent had chance to nip into the local motor factors yet

i had to change an engine mount on my gen3 only to find out the cheapest place was actually the dealers could get cheaper on the net but after delivery it worked out more expensive and also i needed it straight away so they ordered for next day delivery good luck mate hope you find some soon

dont know about gen 1 but on gen 3 they dont use poly for the side mounts as it dosnt make any diffrence so oem is wat they put on id imagine its the same for urs
