for future reference, XS Power and SSA are the same

Would that be SSA as in SSA Autochrome? - that was what was on the majority of the paperwork that came with all my XSPower kit...

yup xs-power is just the euro distributor for ss autochrome.

but XS power charge more for the privilage

Have checked out the SSA website and as you say $285 inc del for the V2. which amounts to about £180. Would anyone recommend them, anyone got them, if so what are they like?

ihave the v1 style which had fitment issues, the v2 are said to be fitment issue free so id go for them, as a rule all the headers for the v6 perform more or less the same you aint gona get hugh power differences from different headers, for the price of the v2 from ssa id say you cant go wrong, there cheap good quality and give alot more power

if you get the V2 ones please can you let me know how it fits, as id rather not shell out $525 for the DC sports ones if these fit just as well

If I get V2 I will let you know how they fit, however I am looking to purchase very soon but I probably wont be fitting them for a few weeks yet.

Have seen some OBX ones but I havent had any feedback yet.

tbh i wouldnt go with obx, i know theres a few on ere with the 2.0l headers but the walls of the pipes on the ssa headers are thicker and so less prone to crack

and i read that they have to have certain holes drilled for sensors? And at that price its waay too much

I have emailed xs power asking if they would match the price of ssa and they did not reply. I put 3 best offers in on ebay the last being £200 and that wasnt including p&p and it was turned down. They are asking £250 + £20 p&p.

I emailed ssa and they said 7 to 10 days delivery for uk. However there are loads on ebay usa and they all look the same.

Ive ordered my SSA V2 headers, they are en route. £180 delivered. BINGO

i also emailed XS power, and said i would buy if they matched US office prices etc etc of which they flatly said they couldnt. Cust service is shoite if you ask me, but as long as they turn up....

I'll let you know how long it takes - fedex expected date is 12th, 6 days - so BASICALLY - theyre coming from the US, but because were british, they obviously think we have twice the cash to spend.

hopefully fitting them and getting SMT tuned at the same time - probs at the end of the month tbh - should be here mid month.....

Im still deciding whether to fit them myself or not - the probs with SSA is a lack of QA control - some fit fine, others hit the oil pan, etc etc. So its a bit of a gamble whether you will need to modify anything to fit. Luckily I have the trusty dremel if needed, but its whether i have the time or not..... But its already running high 9's on AFR and will only get richer so im looking to get it tuned asap after for full gains, hense might get the garage to do it.

I saw a really helpful guide on youtube the other day, split into 2 sections - shows you how to fit the headers on the V6 - search hyundai tiburon header help or something and it'll appear
