Just put Lantra cams and Pulleys into my Coupe, and although it idles ok, and runs great, there is a slight lag in throttle response if open it up too quick. Im pretty sure its due to fuel not getting into the engine quick enough, (probably running lean anyway with my SRI fitted), so now need a re-map to sort it out and let everything run better togeather. Im in east anglia so does anyone know anywhere I can get it done in this area? Also a rough Idea of price? Also I'm expecting a 4-2-1 manifold and sports cat any day now, will have to wait til thats on til I do have re-map done.

right..... so which lantra cams did you put in? You only need the 1.8 intake cam if you were after the evo properties.

Are you sure its timed up correctly?

Very doubtful that its running lean, honestly. you can run a stage 0 supercharger without a remap

Anyhow, remapping you are going to need a piggyback / standalone. Minumum cost for a GOOD job all in approx £700-£900 including the unit for potentially 3-5bhp.

There are limitations to the standard Hyundai ecu map, and you will be well within those properties. Take labsie for example, hes got an evo with all the above and run juuust fine

I had a CAI, but wasn't happy with it, as it was pulling in warm air from behind the fan, I moved it a few times, but eventually gave up and shortened the pipe to SRI with tumble drier hose blowing cold air at it. No pics yet, but its pretty much identical to Ashgen1s setup.
I've fitted a new TPS, so its not that, but basically if I rev it too quick its struggling to get fuel in quick enough.
Having said that it seemed to run a bit better today, after approx 100 miles with the new cams, could it be that my "intelligent" computer needs to adjust itself?
Why can't I just have a carburettor so I can just unwind the screw a bit?
