WEll basically im at a divde between a Injen cold air induction kit or a pipercross viper however the viper doesnt come with a cold air feed as they say THERE IS NO ROOM! however where the right hand indicator is on a Gen 1 F2 evo there is plenty of room (my fist can pretty much fit through) for a cold air feed to come through and down into the lower mesh of the front bumper.

Has anyone noticed this before?
Secondaly as its so low when it rains as a viper kit is a straight through kit there is a chance water could get in?.... however that will be a lot of twists and turns it will have to work its way up .. what do you guys think?

The complete viper kit does look achievable on an F2 evolution due to its big bumper. has anyone tried this before?>

do the Injen one, RiknVik had his cold air feed where you plan on having yours and he had the biggest gains if I remember rightly, although, I think scout has the pipercross kit and he says that is brilliant so I don't think you can lose out either way, I wouldn't worry about getting water in, you should be fine with those kits

ok sounds great what about the AEM induction kit that can be bought with a air intake bypass valuve (to prvent hydrolocking) what would you recommend ? and where is the best place to buy abroad (USA) or here?

AEM is regarded as a con on newtib. Essentially a pipe with a filter and costs a heck of a lot more than other makes.

Unless you drive through fords and have the filter scraping on the floor you wont need a bypass valve - the only time it will suck water up is if the filter is fully submerged in water

I'm suprised no-one else has said it but you don't need to spend that much IMO the difference in gains from spending a tenner and spending £160 you wont even notice and it will hardly make a difference so I wouldn't bother with somethin so expensive
