Redex straight down the cylinder will create a huge cloud of smoke.
Don't worry though, people will just think you have a Diesel Coupe...

As for water, ive read about this but never tried. You have to be careful tho as water cannot be compressed and can cause your engine to hydro lock. Be careful!

so is there any point in doing a decoke in a modern engine? wont it kill the CAT , turn on EML or something similar? has anyone done it?

you can get the sprays that go in through the intake, but personally i wouldnt do it.

i wouldn't recommend sticking water through it, could eaasily end up playin silly bu**ers with the lambda sensors, and also the risk of hydrolock. i just give it full throttle through the revs on my way onto a motorway usually clears it out well.

Heading down to the coupe just now with the redex..... its my tool of the trade.

So i shall do a little video for you lot too, and see how it goes.... no doubt it'lll end it tears. It's me for petes sake.

Was just checking back here to see if anyone else had done it yet.

Taking down a 5 litre load of oil (from wilkos for £8!!!!! bargain! lol especialy if im just burning it)

Also taking some stop smoke treatment for afters (*yum yum!*)
