well i went to see sharky today aka the cig............to fit my intake spacer image my horror when i got there to find he had been decapitated..........either by summat falling on him or a customer who was unhappy with the terms of his now infamous "easy credit scheme"
anyway i was wasting my journey to brum and coming back with no spacer fitted so i picked up his head and wired it to the battery using my experience watching faz yesterday........hence...



anyway it took him about 40 mins-with 2 fag breaks and a pepsi max-bearing in mind he had to remove a strut brace and several extra items from mine.he also spotted throttle body not closing properly so thats been sorted too

i can confirm you CAN use the original bolts with the standard shark racing spacer,they will bolt up there is enough to do it.sharky also pointed out the overboost intake is part manufactured using an ORIGINAL intake,which has been cut up,had a much bigger plenum fitted and then rewelded.he also confirmed the welding on the overboost is excellent,and using the original has allowed the fitment of fuel rail etc to be the same-which is part of problem reapers been having with the motoria.

it then took him about 15 minutes to put it all back together so your talking an hour to fit one of these.
cant say iv noticed any power difference and i was looking.however the intake is much cooler and there is obviously an advantage there plus we did the throttle body coolant bypass at the same time-im looking at a bigger throttle body next but also need to upgrade my brakes too so may have to wait a bit.its amazing how cool that intake is-someone on new tiburon said you can run down the motorway,then stick your bear ass on it.

i didnt have a bear who's ass i could stick on it-funny pets in america huh?-so i settled for putting my forearm on it and sure enough its cool enough to lean on with no discomfort.of course its not cold but its not even barely warm.excellent.so its got to even a tiny advantage at the very least so this mod gets a thumbs up from me on the modifying front.

and what of the easy credit scheme today??
i always make sure i have cash.its worth it to see the disapointment on his face.make sure you take a fully charged battery next time you want advice.he's let things go to his head abit big thanks as usual to sharky foir his entertainment,humour and an excellent job

ive got a bbtb sat in my garage, it was meant for a v6 so not sure if it would fit to the 2.0 but youre welcome to try it and if all is well we can sort out a price if you would like?

alright shut it you with that lol this is the whole PC debate, fitment isnt my fault its the manufacturer's, im just the middle-man. and since the things ive sold ive sold at WAY less than cost youre getting a bargain even if it has to be altered

1. i paid £320 but sold it to you for £300 - thats £20 cheaper in my book

2. ive no idea the spec of it i bought it from a member on here along with his fujita cai, motoria catback, ark strut and high level spoiler and the only things ive got left of those id the strut and spoiler as i got sick of the noise real quick, also i got the cai and bbtb fitted at a garage and theyd left a styrofoam peanut in the cai that gave me a few issues, luckily it got stopped by the maf though needless to say i wont be using that garage again and i know how to fit them myself now lol.

3. next time im back if you wanna pick the bbtb up and give it a whirl, if it dont work out for ya then no charge, if it works then wel sort somethin out
