Im not the only one then i have the same problem with my headlights. When i went to pick the motor up the guy was replacing the builbs in the headlamps because they had blown. Andi had to replace them again not long back. I have tested everything out and cannot find any problems. Does help being a sparky but it has me beat

Hey there. I had the same problem whe I was fitting 100W bulbs. I would stick to the recommended wattage, but try and get the brighter ones. Also, try not to touch the glass when fitting.

The golden rule i never break never touch the glass so i dont know whats causing it to happen.

Have the same problem with mine - rear drivers side goes about 3 times a year for reasons only Mulder and Scully could answer! Just had the MoT which failed only on that stupid bulb! Maybe the truth is out there?

I know when I had just bought my car Ihad a bad earth so ket blowing bulbs (rear [assenger side brake / tail light). I eventually got frustrated, took the units out and fixed it. The problem is that one of the terminals was shorting out so cad to move it about a mm. soldering was fine so didnt bother with that. got the idea whem my friend's Pug 206 GTi has the same problem. Could be that.

Ive jus had the rear passenger side brake light go again! its been like 2 weeks!

I fink it must be this earth problem mentioned above ,,, as im not very good with that stuff, what do i need to do ??
