I know this is probably covered loads on here but still....

I was just wondering, what steps would you take to tune a V6 over time?

I'm thinking CAI 1st, but then I get lost.... what would be the next step?Would you go straight for a chip? exhaust? and after that? etc etc.

if you have the money then theres no limits really, within the next few mnth my v6 tune will be finished, ive got sri intake, ssa headers and catback, performance plugs and leads, throttle body heater bypass, lightweight clutch and flywheel, engine damper, poly engine mounts and then im gettin it tuned..... might go for a lsd early next year, then theres other bits, ive got drilled and grooved break discs with uprated pads front strutbar, im gettin lowering springs in next few days and rear strut, might go for the light weight pullys not sure yet, short shifter also on the way ohh and ive got an intake spacer aswell, like i said you can spend spend spend on the v6 even more than on the 2.0l, i know ive had both and modded both

I believe the best route for top power is as follows (this is what ive read, others could confirm)

I/H/E

Reground cams

ECU remap/piggyback etc

That can see 230bhp but you will struggle to get any more
