the idea-im sure someone else can explain better-they usually have like a steering lock that holds the wheel steady when they do adjustments then its straight when they have finished.

Whats happened here ... the garage have tracked it on one of the front wheels ... this will turn your steering wheel off centre when you staighten up , he needs to back off that wheel he has done a bit ... then track the other wheel up so the steering wheel sits striaght , i think the mechanic that done it was either lazy or in a rush

had the same problem when i went to Kwik fit. my car went in cos the tracking was sooo bad my front tires were getting hot as in very hot any way they did the tracking at £29.50 admittidly it took two attempts because the numb nut diddent tighten up the tie rod end and so it moved second time round and a very big question over the guys abilities they sorted it no probs.
