well fazs exhaust manifold has finally been fitted and sorted!

very tempted to change sport cat to 400cel one.this ones about 200 and doesnt give the back pressure(we dont think-sharky verdict)that the coupe thrives on.

heat wrap(which is brill)got slightly ripped on fitting but will be redone soon.fab when it gets wet through bonnet vent you get big clouds of steam escaping the bonnet vents........everyone thinks its on fire

what is the original cat then is that 400 and isnt it possible to cut off the original cat and have it welded, or would it be easier to get a new 400 cell as i was gonna go with the 200cell but if you think that a 400cell is better as the xspower exhaust is 2.5" so that is bigger than other exhausts maybe 200cell would be better for a 2.25" and with an xs-power manifold but after reading about sharky he knows what he's talking about

You could get the stock cat welded in, however, this is really where the power is gained when changing headers - getting rid of the stock cat. (gave me approx 8whp changing to the sports cat)

Duple - what size is the exhaust that youre using? Im a little baffled why yours is having so many back pressure problems... usually its only decats that seem to have obvious problems on 2.0's tis weird
